Baldness hair loss

Baldness hair loss is a problem faced by everyone, not just women. Fortunately for those with baldness hair loss there are some very good products on the market. In these cases, all products of "stylized" no longer have any effect. Baldness hair loss can occur from many factors, one of the most important being of course the stress. The fall and the thinning of the hair were sensitive issues of men over time. Recently, clinical research has finally identified the main cause of baldness hair loss. Now is a known medical fact that hair falls because of genetic and hormonal causes. Androgenic alopecia or baldness in men is involved in 95% of cases of hair loss. The key is a product called DHT (dihydrotestosterone). The more DHT enters your body, the more hair follicles become thinner until the hair is permanently lost.

The DHT hormone responsible for baldness hair loss

DHT is one of the male hormones in the body. DHT is important in the life of a young man. However, it seems that this hormone is also responsible for baldness hair loss along the way men get older. Men baldness is caused by the hormone DHT, the product of the testosterone hormone with the enzyme 5 alpha. DHT, once formed, joins the hair follicles, slowing their growth and cutting their blood supply. Hair begins to thin and finally will fall. So, the higher the level of DHT in the body, the more easier to get to baldness hair loss.

The effect of DHT on the hair cycle

The hair on our scalp is growing regularly and is replaced by a hair cycle. A normal hair goes through 3 phases: the growth phase (2 to 6 years and produces well-pigmented hair. At any time 90% of the hair is in growth phase). The second phase is a transitional phase that lasts several weeks. The hair becomes thinner and the follicle begins to shrink. The last phase is between 2 and 4 months and during this time the thinner hair falls, making way for another new hair. DHT shortens the growth phase leading directly to the last phase. It also causes the shrinking of the follicles, leading to the impossibility of re-growing. Baldness hair loss is an inflammatory dermatological disorder mainly affecting the hair follicles. The evolution of baldness hair loss is chronic causing localized or complete loss of hair in the head but also on the body. This dermatological disorder is not life-threatening, does not cause pain, although sometimes skin irritation might appear, causing different aesthetic problems due to the loss of eyelashes and eyebrows. The etiology of baldness hair loss has not been elucidated by now. Also we don't known its further evolution but is known that baldness hair loss is an autoimmune disease associated with genetic predisposition, triggered by environmental factors.

A secondary cause of baldness hair loss is represented by chemotherapy.

Baldness hair loss includes physical distressing aspects for the patient, who subsequently causes some psychological consequences such as anxiety and depression. In terms of drug treatment of the baldness hair loss, this treatment has a low efficiency and the failure of various therapeutic strategies lead the patients to become suspicious of their chances of cure. Baldness hair loss may be linked to serious chronic consequences, especially depression and anxiety. This disorder can affect the identity and self esteem of the person concerned.
